  • Promote principles of social responsibility and inclusive growth through awareness and support.
  • Invest in socially and environmentally responsible activities to create positive impact.
  • Monitor the environmental and social investment of Company through structured governance and transparent performance indicators.

 

 

Areas under CSR

  • Eradicating hunger, poverty and malnutrition, promoting healthcare including preventive healthcare and sanitation and making available safe drinking water.
  • Promoting education, including special education and employment enhancing vocation skills especially among children, women, elderly, and the differently abled and livelihood enhancement projects.
  • Promoting gender equality, empowering women, setting up homes and hostels for women and orphans; setting up old age homes, day care centers and such other facilities for senior citizens and measures for reducing inequalities faced by socially and economically backward groups.
  • Ensuring environmental sustainability, ecological balance, protection of flora and fauna, animal welfare, agro forestry, conservation of natural resources and maintaining quality of soil, air and water;
  • Measures for the benefit of armed forces veterans, war widows and their dependents
  • Training to promote rural sports, nationally recognized sports, paralympic sports and Olympic sports;
  • Contribution to the Prime Minister’s National Relief Fund or any other fund set up by the Central Government for socio-economic development and relief and welfare of Scheduled Castes, the Scheduled Tribes, other backward classes, minorities and women;
  • Contributions or funds provided to technology incubators located within academic institutions which are approved by the Central Government;
  • Rural Development projects:- Any project meant for the development of rural India will be covered under this;
  • Any other measures with the approval of Board of Directors on the recommendation of CSR Committee subject to the provisions of Section 135 of Companies Act, 2013 and rules made thereunder.

 

 

In healthcare, our endeavour is to promote preventive health care through:

  • Contribution to various organisations for treatment of diseases e.g. cancer.
  • Contribution to any other organisation (as may be decided by the board) for promotion of the preventive health care.

 

In Women empowerment, our endeavour is to:

  • Empowerment of Women healthcare
  • Promotion of Women education
  • Contribution to any other organisation (as may be decided by the board) for development of women.
  • Setting up homes and hostels for Women.

 

 

In Education, our endeavour is to spark the desire for learning and knowledge at every stage through:

  • Schools
  • Balwadis for elementary education
  • Quality primary education

 

 

In Sustainable Livelihood, our programmes aim at providing livelihood in a locally appropriate and environmentally sustainable manner through-

  • Formation of Self Help.
  • Conservation of natural resources.
  • Promoting gender equality.

 

 

 

In Infrastructure Development, we endeavour to set up essential services that form the foundation of sustainable development through

  • Old age homes/day care centre/homes for orphans
  • Safe drinking water
  • Sanitation & hygiene
  • Promoting healthcare and sanitation
